Be prepared to be scared

HALLOWEEN is quickly approaching and spooky events have been around Oxfordshire this week for children in the atmosphere.

During the entire week, children half-term break get creative to celebrate ghostly events from Sunday evening.

Oxford Science in London Square, families were Ninja and science making decorations for the weekend.

Organizing Emma Whiteman said they were trying to combine education with pleasure.

She said: "we had more than 100 participating children."

"They were making hats of witches, cobwebs and shouting balloons - but hopes to learn some of science's along the way."

At the Oxford Museum in the Town Hall, St Aldate, children occupied to sound costumes.

They are is stuck in complete manufacture of witches and wizards, outfits with hats and coats.

Visitors to the Palace of Blenheim were not missing either.

Of the week, families were guided by costumed actors spooky tours.

Spokesperson Hannah Payne said: "we had a maze of bones, face painting and carving pumpkin."

Oxford Castle, children will be able to trick-or-treat in the old prison tomorrow evening and Saturday.

Manager Martin Bardale said: "essentially children can go trick or treating in the old prison cells."

"They'll meet a range of different characters in each cell, it should be great fun for all."

And it is not only children who can participer.Annuel Ghost Fest Castle takes place tomorrow evening and on Halloween .the visitors can stay overnight and try to discover the dark secrets inside the enclosure of the Castle.

Mr. Bardale said: "we have the crypt of the Castle, which is frightening in the year, but must be on a different atmosphere during the nuit.Personnes will be able to explore the dark and believe me, the region takes a creepy feeling when you're hunting ghosts."
