How to: Make a Mini Christmas tree

In recent weeks I have seen several really nice mini Christmas trees. Do you know, children who are just for decoration, cost an arm and a leg and far from being green? Yes, those. Type: a bottle who saved from the trash.

I knew that it would have a purpose one day! I took branches-lots and lots of branches.

And my own mini Christmas tree:

I have to warn... This project is a beast! It is necessary to have the patience to complete it.

1.1 Bottle

2 Branches

3. Hot glue gun hot glue

4. Little rocks (so explain later!)

5 Mini jingle bells.

6 Twine - chose red cords. This also could be a good opportunity to whip the baker of hemp cordage!

7. Yellow paper (I used a piece of junk that I had in my craft stuff, but you can also use spam to the star).

8 Scissors.

9 Spray paint. Remember, spray paint is not greener crafts supply, so they opt for spray low-VOC paint, if you can.

1 Give little rocks on the bottle. Due to the fact that only attach to the branches of one side of the bottle, need to have something to weigh and keep it stable.

4 Add your adorable jingle bells. These I hot had stuck as well.

5 Cut a star for his role as ex officio. Paste it to the top of the tree.

Creative reuse Center: at recycling art supply resources

Materials of promotion for creative reuse centers in Atlanta and Washington D.C.

One of the recycled and cunning resources that arose much during this year and last year of impressive Summit was the center of creative reuse. But what is a creative reuse Center and how can you find one near you?

Creative reuse centers are companies usually non-profit, and its mission is to divert potential sources of art from the landfill and make them accessible to artists and artisans. It can mean conventional things as paintings and tape or art less obvious supplies such as samples of cabinet doors and wine corks.

They take donations from individuals and companies, and then sort everything, cheap price and make it available to the general public. Many of the centres of creative reuse also do community outreach to teach people how to make recycled art. The Centre that only beginning recently here in Atlanta houses classes of recycled art in Wonderroot, our creative community center. In fact, I just taught a class for them making recycled art!

Unfortunately, there is no any central announcement that I know for creative reuse centers, although if anyone knows of one, please share in the comments! SCRAP in San Francisco has a list of other creative resources.

I think that a centre of creative reuse near you there is? A quick search just might surprise you! You can also try Googling your city and the phrase "creative reuse Center". Go for a couple of different names: Center for creative reuse or scrap. SCRAP is a species of situation of the franchise that began in Portland, Oregon and is now in very few cities throughout the country.

Of all my friends mother with children attending schools, does not know any of them have their children buy school lunch. They say that it is quite expensive, on the one hand and is certainly not nutritionally superior or better tasting brought food from home, and so my friends Pack lunches for their children.

Even my small gang of girls student have their own lunch packages, and although not eat in a cafeteria of the school every day, eat a packaged meals several times a week-breakfast at the public library of one day, lunch in the stream, another day, dinner in the car's road to gymnastics Thursday, etc..

We have been here in CAGW, sew our own cloth napkins dinner for a while (see tutorial diaper Becky DIY fabric for a good example).
